Senior Logistics Specialist - US Army - Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD

This position supports Project Manager, Electronic Warfare and Cyber (PM EW&C)


Job Responsibilities: The Software Engineer collaborates with system users, requirements owners, and developmental contractors to translate operational requirements into software requirements, designs, and implementations.   

    

  • Participates in planning, coordinating, scheduling, directing, and controlling engineering and technical support activities applicable to software development and integration of software tools/capabilities onto a variety of execution platforms 
  • Participates in the development and execution of software and system test strategies
  • Reviews and assesses developmental contractor software code to ensure compliance with government-provided coding and cybersecurity standards 


Job Qualifications: 

  • Active Secret Clearance 
  • 5+ years of direct experience with software development
  • BS and/or graduate degree(s) in Engineering/SW Engineering/Computer Science
  • Experience with integration testing of systems of systems
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery
  • Familiarity with modern DEVSECOPS activities, CI/CD, and products
  • Experience in standardizing messages between unique and separate systems for collaborative missions
  • EW, JICD 4.2, and/or tactical networks experience is preferred but not essential
  • Experience within DoD Acquisition framework and support to other SW based systems

This position supports Project Manager, Electronic Warfare and Cyber (PM EW&C)


Job Responsibilities: The Senior Logistics Specialist develops and perform logistics management operations that involve planning and coordinating the execution of Integrated logistics support (ILS) for major complex weapon systems to include new emerging technologies or complicated fielding requirements. 


  • Develops, interprets and/or applies a wide range of DOD, Army and PEO acquisition and logistics polices, directives and precedents
  • Responsible for the coordination, preparation, evaluation and review of ILS management and planning documents 
  • Evaluates progress in attaining ILS objectives
  • Performs the full range of planning, liaison, equipment and control of logistics phases 
  • Implements PEO/DA/DOD policy and procedures of acquisition to provide support of the program manager’s requirement to field fully supportable systems/equipment and meeting operational requirements for the soldier in the field
  • Resolves complex logistics problems affecting numerous activities and units spread over large geographical areas


Job Qualifications: 

  • Active Secret Clearance 
  • Familiarity with DoD 5000 acquisition lifecycle processes 
  • Ability to work on, and/or lead, multi-functional/multi-disciplinary teams

Senior Systems Engineer - US Army - Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD

This position supports Project Manager, Electronic Warfare and Cyber (PM EW&C)


Job Responsibilities: The Sr. Systems Engineer should possess in-depth knowledge of Electronic Warfare (EW), RF Engineering, and Signals Intelligence (SIGINT). The selected candidate will have the opportunity to utilize their experience and knowledge to develop hardware and software to improve systems requirements documents, specifications and back-end signal processing of next generation RF systems including SIGINT and Electronic Warfare (EW) sensors.

  

  • Works with intel and electronic warfare analysts to characterize adversary electronic orders of battle to include specific analysis on threat radar systems and blue force system’s ability to detect and intercept a given set of threats
  • Conducts analysis, subsystem analysis, architecture/subsystem decomposition, requirements and algorithm design, implementation, integration, verification, and maintenance of ground-based SIGINT and EW systems
  • Exercises a strong knowledge of EW and SIGINT systems and subsystems to develop system and subsystem specifications necessary for meeting performance metrics against a given set of threat signals of interest
  • Understands supporting technologies including pulse detectors, de-interleaving, pulse descriptor word generation and spectrum survey strategies associated with counter Radar operations
  • Participates in algorithmic design and machine learning frameworks including classification and identification techniques
  • Develops presentations for support activities and/or higher headquarters  


Job Qualifications: 

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • 5-10 years of experience with Radio Frequency (RF) ISR systems to include radar, SIGINT and Electronic Support (ES) systems
  • BS (MS or Ph.D. preferred) in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, physics, or similar field
  • Knowledge of domain specific radar principles, including signal processing, target acquisition; target tracking, resource management, discrimination, and battle manager interfaces
  • Experience using tools such as MATLAB or Python for analysis of data sets
